Polish and allied aircraft were deployed early Tuesday to safeguard Polish airspace following Russian airstrikes aimed at western Ukraine, according to the Operational Command of the Polish armed forces.
“The measures implemented are designed to enhance security in the regions adjacent to the threatened areas,” the Command stated on X.

Air raid alerts were issued across all of Ukraine beginning at approximately 0350 GMT after warnings from Ukraine’s Air Force regarding potential Russian missile strikes.
