Vietnam has Announced a Visa Exemption for Travelers from Poland, Czechia, and Switzerland.

This policy permits a stay of up to 45 days for travelers engaged in organized tours arranged by Vietnamese international travel agencies. Effective until December 31, 2025, this initiative seeks to boost inbound tourism and draw visitors from key European markets.

To qualify for the 45-day visa exemption, tourists must fulfill certain criteria, including possessing a passport valid for a minimum of six months and providing evidence of participation in a registered tour program. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to enhance Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global tourism landscape.

Currently, Vietnam extends 45-day visa exemptions to travelers from 13 countries, including Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has indicated that these countries are vital sources of international tourists. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has initiated a promotional campaign aimed at Poland, Czechia, and Switzerland, featuring activities designed to highlight Vietnam’s renowned tourist destinations.

Vietnam is set to host a ‘Vietnam Culture – Tourism Week’ in Poland and Czechia to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations with these nations. This initiative is part of Vietnam’s continuous efforts to enhance its tourism attractiveness.

As of August 15, 2023, e-visas have been made accessible to citizens from all countries at 13 international airports in Vietnam, simplifying the entry process.
