Russia’s primary objective continues to be delivering a “maximum defeat” to Ukraine, stated former president Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday.
“Russia is making progress. The adversary is putting up resistance and has not been vanquished yet,” remarked Medvedev, who serves as the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council. “Our foremost task today is to inflict maximum defeat on the enemy ‘on the ground.'”

Medvedev also expressed his anticipation that the United States would reinstate military assistance to Ukraine, which was halted on Monday, following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s signing of a minerals agreement with Washington.
