US Secretary of State Rubio will Meet Ukrainian Officials in Saudi Arabia this Week.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia from March 10 to 12 for discussions with Ukrainian officials, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of State.

During his visit, Rubio will also meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as noted by spokesperson Tammy Bruce.

Following his time in Saudi Arabia, Rubio will head to Canada for the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting taking place from March 12 to 14, the statement indicated.

On Friday, Rubio had a conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, during which he conveyed that President Donald Trump aims to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict promptly.

It was reported that Trump has suspended military assistance and intelligence sharing with Ukraine following a disagreement with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on February 28.

Zelenskiy has announced plans to visit Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Mohammed bin Salman on Monday, and Ukrainian diplomatic and military representatives are expected to engage with the U.S. delegation on Tuesday.
