Senator George Akume Emerges as APC Leader in Nigeria’s North-Central Zone

Abuja, Nigeria – Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has solidified his position as the undisputed leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria’s North-Central zone. This development, reached at a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, signals a unified front within the party as it strategically prepares for the pivotal 2027 elections.
