Emmerdale’s Paula Lane has announced that she is expecting her third child with a sweet announcement on social media.
‘Some special news to share from us @sirtomshaw,’ began Paula in a social media post who is best known for playing Ella Forster in the ITV soap.
‘Christmas just got a bit more magical. Our baby boy due December 2025 💙🌈,’ she said.
The image showed an image of a sonogram, and there were two cards in pink and blue that read ‘Best Big Sister’ and ‘Best Big Brother’ respectively.
The soap actress has two children already named Arthur and Penny, who she shares with her husband Tom.
The announcement comes just as the star leaves Emmerdale, as her year on the soap playing a killer came to an end.
Paula is also known for her role as Kylie Platt in Coronation Street and received a lot of love from her coworkers from both soaps.

After their on-screen characters’ friendship was a major storyline in the soap, Paula and Lisa Riley reunited last month, just months after Paula left the show.
Sharing a selfie on social media, Lisa penned: ‘Finished work at @emmerdale then straight to @leedschalounge to meet up with this beautiful lady for brunch. @paula_laney We have had the most gorgeous afternoon catching up, nattering forever, laughing, like we had never been apart. Love you to absolute pieces babes-thanks for the best brunch-see you very soon for more of that please 💛💛💛.
Ella’s exit in April saw her leave the Dales in the back of a police car. It was a heartbreaking end to her short time in the village, with many fans arguing that the character deserved better.
With Ella and Mandy’s friendship fractured, the same cannot be said for Paula and Lisa, who remain the best of mates away from the soap.
