Emma Willis has made a dig at her husband Matt’s new ‘addiction’, which he joked is ‘ruining his life’.
Matt, 42, and Emma, 49, who present the Netflix dating show Love Is Blind UK, are well known for their loving marriage, but it turns out there’s a growing wedge in their relationship.
And when we say wedge, we mean that literally because Matt’s admitted he’s completely hooked on golf.
The star said as much during an interview with The Mirror, where he claimed: ‘I’m obsessed. It’s slowly ruining my life… But in the greatest possible way!’
Apparently, Emma’s not so keen on her hubby’s new hobby, though, replying to his enthusiasm with a rather wry, ‘For him!’
Not that Matt’s letting Emma’s sarcasm get down. ‘I love it,’ he continued.

‘I’ve got rules about it. I didn’t get told to make these rules; I made them on my own,’ he continued.
That said, Matt’s clear that he won’t let his tee time get in the way of tea time, explaining he only goes when the kids are at school and that he won’t let Emma become a golf widow.
During the interview, Emma couldn’t help but poke fun at Matt’s new passion, joking that his previous hobby ‘wasn’t very good for him’ — a reference to the Busted bass player’s well-documented struggle with drugs and alcohol.
‘I’m only making digs about it because I don’t hear anything else now other than golf,” Emma explains. ‘I walk into the living room and it’s on the telly. The kids walk in, sigh and then they walk back out again.’
It probably doesn’t help that Matt initially wanted to get into golf as he thought it would be a nice hobby for them both.

Unfortunately for Matt, when he bought her golf lessons for Christmas, Emma wasn’t interested, forcing him to go alone.
It’s worth noting that Emma has her own hobby (or dream) that reportedly has him rolling his eyes.
She wants to drive around the world in a drive around the world in converted transit van.
Despite the pair’s banter, their marriage remains stronger than ever, with Emma explaining it’s ‘love, time, commitment, and compromise’ that has made their relationship so strong.
In March, Emma underwent keyhole heart surgery to repair a hole in her heart that she was unaware of.
During the same interview, the pair said Emma was on the road to recovery after a few months taking some time off.
