Emmerdale star Rosie Bentham has confirmed ‘lots of good stuff’ to come for Gabby Thomas and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).
The actress, who has played Gabby on the ITV soap for a decade, caught up with Metro at the Inside Soap Awards to discuss what’s ahead for her character.
Gabby, as viewers know, tied the knot earlier this month and were looking forward to spending their lives together as they planned for the future.
But in typical Emmerdale fashion, a colossal secret was soon confirmed, with Gabby admitting to her mum that she cheated on her husband just weeks before they wed.
Gabby, however, isn’t the only one keeping secrets, with Vinny struggling with his sexuality.
In fact, on the day of his wedding, the popular character bravely reported thug Mike to the police.

Mike, as fans will recall, was a user that confused Vinny met on an LGBTQ+ forum, who recorded their private conversations and used them to blackmail thousands out of him – after violently attacking him.
Vinny kept quiet about the ordeal at first but ultimately he decided to tell the police everything after Mike showed up and threatened to out him at his wedding if he failed to pay him more money.
Vinny ultimately refused to be bullied by Mike and thus reported him but with a court case pending, it’s possible that the truth will come out – and that Gabby will find out everything.
With secrets and lies bubbling under the surface, is a happy ending even possible?

‘It’s a recipe for disaster, isn’t it?’, star Rosie told us. ‘It’s chaos. There’s been so many little lies along the way and Gabby is just in her own little world. It’s so obvious that something is up with Vinny and she’s just ‘la la la’ doing her own thing – wedding, dress, party!
‘There’s also been some stuff [with Bernice] and filming the wedding was really fun. But there’s definitely some skeletons in the closet that need to come out and be chatted about.

‘I don’t know if it’ll be a happy ending. I hope it is because I love working with Bradley. He is such a gem and such good fun – and I’m a Dingle!’
Rosie admitted that she’s not sure how the story pans out but confirmed to us that there’s ‘lots of good stuff’ to come.
And Rosie wasn’t the only Emmerdale star we chatted to on the red carpet, with Ruby Miligan actress Beth Cordingly addressing the fan theories that Anthony Fox will be coming back to haunt Ruby.
Abuser Anthony, as viewers know, was killed by Ruby earlier this year, with killer John (Oliver Farnworth) assisting her in covering up the crime.
But fans have predicted that the secret, which currently remains hidden, will come out.
‘My dad gets on his news feed what the fans think’, Beth told us. ‘They all think [Anthony] is coming back.
‘I hope not!’, she exclaimed with a laugh.
Co-star William Ash, who plays Caleb, spoke to Metro earlier this week, stating that he reckons the storyline has been wrapped.
‘‘I think that’s been put to bed now,’ he said, before admitting that he’s ‘not 100% certain’.
‘Unless the writers have got something in mind, because we never actually saw what happened. We never actually saw the body.
‘I think off screen, Caleb has actually moved that body somewhere else, so I think it’s well and truly finished.’
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream first from 7am on ITVX and YouTube.
