As fans await another update on GTA 6, one TikToker is facing a backlash for travelling to Rockstar’s offices to pester developers for answers.
It’s been five months since Rockstar released a new trailer for GTA 6, andannounced the game has been delayed until next May, and some fans are already getting impatient about a new update.
While many channel their anticipation into speculating over wild online theories or worrying about another delay, one impatient individual travelled to the offices of Rockstar North in Edinburgh, to seek out answers directly from employees.
Unfortunately, they went about it in the worst way possible, with the video showing him confronting supposed developers out on the street.
In the video, TikToker and YouTuber backonboulevard said he flew to Edinburgh because he was ‘sick and tired of waiting for the answers’ around the next GTA 6 update.
While the caption describes his actions as ‘interviewing GTA 6 developers’, the video actually shows him hurling questions like ‘when’s the delay?’ and ‘when’s the next trailer?’ at people entering Rockstar North’s offices on the street.
As you’d expect, nobody properly answers his questions, but the TikToker has since claimed the next GTA 6 trailer, along with another delay announcement, will drop later this month, on October 28. It’s not clear what his source is though, as none of the people he harassed told him that.

The video, posted on YouTube and TikTok, has been widely criticised online. Fellow GTA content creator, GameRoll, wrote: ‘Came across this disgusting video on TikTok of some strange individual camping outside of Rockstar North to ask developers about a GTA delay/new trailer.
‘If you’re waiting outside of somebody’s workplace to harass employees over a video game give your head a wobble.’
‘This is nuts behaviour WTF,’ The GTA Base wrote on X. Another user added: ‘How delusional a person has to be to harass strangers and expect answers from devs under NDA minding their own business.’
Beyond the video, the most alarming aspect are some of the comments beneath the clip, with several people encouraging the behaviour in order to get answers.
If you are excited about GTA 6, we’d advise taking your mind off it by playing the enormous amount of other quality games out at the moment, such as Ghost Of Yōtei, Silent Hill f, Hades 2, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
