Internet Personality Andrew Tate Reportedly Leaves Romania.

Internet figure Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan departed Romania on a private flight to the United States early Thursday, according to reports from the news site G4media.ro, which cited sources at the airport.

Romanian prosecutors, along with Tate’s legal and communication representatives, have not provided immediate comments on the matter.

The Tate brothers are currently under criminal investigation in Romania for allegations of human trafficking and are subject to judicial control, a precautionary measure that requires them to regularly report to the police.

They have consistently denied any wrongdoing.

Although they were initially prohibited from leaving Romania, local media sources indicated that prosecutors granted their request to travel to the United States earlier this month.

The Financial Times reported last week that U.S. officials had discussed the Tates’ case, both of whom are former kickboxers holding dual U.S. and British citizenship, in a conversation with the Romanian government, urging it to remove the restrictions placed on them.
