On Thursday, Israel conducted an air strike on Damascus, the capital of Syria, aiming at what the military identified as a command center associated with the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad, which was allegedly involved in orchestrating “terrorist activities” against Israel.
A nine-second video released by the military purportedly depicted the air strike, showing an explosion near a building followed by significant smoke clouds.
According to the military, this command center was instrumental in planning and directing Islamic Jihad’s “terrorist activities” targeting Israel.
