A new bridge, known as Bridge No. 28, officially opened to the public on May 15th, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Located along National Road No. 10 in Pursat province, the bridge was constructed by a Chinese company.
Phan Rim, a spokesperson for the ministry, told Xinhua News that the project is now fully complete and ready for use.
He stated that the bridge will reduce travel times and lower transportation costs for local communities and businesses.

The structure is 80 meters high and spans 530 meters across the Russey Chrum river valley in Osom commune, Veal Veng district.
It is 10 meters wide, providing space for vehicles and designated areas for people to stop and enjoy views of the surrounding forest.
Officials anticipate that the bridge will support economic development in the area by improving road access in this mountainous region.
