According to the government’s statement, South Korea’s ministers of trade and industry intend to visit the US as soon as possible to talk about potential collaboration.
In a statement, acting president Choi Sang-mok urged business executives traveling to the US this week to look for ways to collaborate with the administration of US President Donald Trump.

Amid a string of Trump’s actions to impose tariffs on imports into the United States, Choi also stated that the government and the private sector needed to respond as “one team” to changing trade environments.
