On Tuesday, multiple individuals sustained injuries in Uppsala, Sweden, following a series of loud noises believed to be gunfire, according to police, who did not immediately disclose further details regarding the incident. The police reported receiving calls from the public about sounds resembling gunshots in the city center, and emergency services have been deployed to the area.

The police statement indicated that several individuals were found with injuries consistent with gunfire. A local hospital has refrained from commenting on the condition of the injured. Authorities have established a large perimeter and initiated an investigation.
