UK National Grid has Temporarily Reconnected Heathrow to the Substation.

On Friday, Britain’s National Grid announced that the North Hyde substation network in west London has been adjusted to temporarily restore power to the sections of Heathrow Airport linked to it.

A spokesperson for the National Grid stated, “The network has been modified to ensure that all affected customers are served, including the sections of Heathrow Airport connected to North Hyde.”

“This is a temporary measure as we continue to work on North Hyde to bring the substation and our network back to standard operation.”
