King Charles of Britain is set to resume his public engagements this week after a brief hospitalization last Thursday due to side effects from his cancer treatment, according to a royal source on Monday.
The 76-year-old monarch has been receiving treatment since his cancer diagnosis in February of last year, which followed tests conducted after a corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate.
Recently, he experienced what sources referred to as a “minor bump in the road,” necessitating a short hospital stay for observation on Thursday. As a result, he had to cancel several scheduled events at the end of the week.
