Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) are completely thrown in Emmerdale soon as they hear a rustling coming from the boxes in one of the depot trucks.

A few moments later, a lady called Anya appears and is terrified.

As Caleb tries to coax the stowaway out, Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) arrives and is baffled by what she’s seeing. In the week, the couple attempt to reach an agreement over what to do about the newcomer.

It’s quite the complex situation they’ll have on their hands – but who is Anya and what is her story?

Also in the village, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is pressured by Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) into breaking up with Kev (Chris Coghill).

Just as he braces himself though, Robert is gifted a new watch by Kev. Outside the pub, they kiss, and then realise Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) has seen the entire thing.

What a nightmare!

Elsewhere, Joe is briefly distracted while driving his car and ends up hitting someone. As he gets out, Joe is shocked to realise he knocked Jimmy King (Nick Miles) over.

He panics, and then discovers Caleb has witnessed the event unfold. Will Jimmy be okay?

Finally, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has a difficult conversation with Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), while Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) gets to work organising health check-ups for the men in the village, following his cancer scare.
