Another big week on Ramsay Street! (Picture: Metro/Michael Adams/Allena Tran/Metro)

It’s a dangerous time for Andrew Rodwell (Lloyd Will) and Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) in Neighbours next week as they’re almost caught in the act.

The V-Bar is the hottest spot in Melbourne for drinks it seems, and when the Ramsay Street locals head into the CBD, the illicit couple are forced to hide in a cupboard.

Yikes.

If that’s not bad enough, Andrew’s brother Felix (James Beaufort) is back in the suburb, and his interest is piqued by his sibling’s odd behaviour.

Felix has returned to support JJ and Cara Varga-Murphy (Riley Bryant and Sara West) through their ordeal with the Linwell Brothers, with the family all unaware that patriarch Greg (Gary Sweet) is working with them.

Plus there’s drama for Krista Tanaka (Majella Davis) amid husband Leo’s (Tim Kano) decision to have a baby with Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson).

Here’s everything that’s happening Down Under next week…

Monday, October 6

Intrigued by Nicolette’s surrogacy proposal, Leo can’t bring himself to give her an outright no, leaving her quietly optimistic.

However, when he nervously tries to raise the subject with Krista, he’s quickly reminded of the strained history between the two women and makes the decision to turn down the offer without even mentioning it to her.

When word of the offer eventually surfaces, Krista notices Leo’s hesitation and begins to seriously consider it as a viable option.

After a private chat with Terese, she starts to wonder if the idea might not be as far-fetched as it first sounded. By the end of the week, she and Leo agree it’s not a yes, but it’s certainly not a no either.

Meanwhile, Max, Taye and Sadie find themselves all off work at the same time – a rare occasion worth celebrating.

They decide on a fun day out to mark their recent successes, but when the group heads to the V-Bar for a change of scene, they narrowly miss running into Andrew and Holly.

Elsewhere, Karl and Susan grow worried when Holly begins to withdraw again. Susan takes the first step to reach out, but her attempt badly backfires, leaving her stung by Holly’s cutting words.

A more cautious approach from Karl leads to a startling revelation: under pressure, Holly admits she’s planning to move away – and insists the decision is final.

Later, she confides in Andrew about her admission, just as Sadie and her friends arrive at the bar. Forced into hiding, Holly and Andrew risk being spotted.

Tuesday, October 7

Andrew and Holly end up trapped together in a storage cupboard. While Holly jokes to lighten the mood, Andrew is in no state to laugh.

To give him a chance to slip away unnoticed, Holly pretends to be drunk – but her act backfires when Taye and Max swoop in to escort her home. Sadie is called for backup, yet Holly’s distant behaviour only deepens Max’s concern.

Despite her repeated attempts to push him away, Max can’t help but check in, leaving Holly to reflect on just how far she’s shut herself off from her friends.

Even after helping Andrew escape, Holly feels increasingly isolated as he maintains appearances with his family and avoids her in public.

When she later waits for him in his backyard, Andrew’s nerves skyrocket. Holly suggests he could ease the strain by ending things with Wendy, questioning whether he’s simply stalling.

She makes it clear she’s willing to give up everything to be with him – but as Andrew falters, the question remains: is he beginning to have second thoughts?

Greg isn’t comfortable with the idea of Felix moving in (Picture: Prime)

After returning from Apollo Bay, JJ shares a heartfelt reunion with Cara before surprising her with a bold suggestion: Felix should move into No. 30 to help keep him safe.

Though taken aback, both Cara and Felix warm to the idea – but Greg is far less comfortable. With his secret double life under threat, Greg quietly persuades Cara to withdraw the offer, warning that Felix’s presence could reignite old tensions between them.

Felix is disappointed when Cara rescinds the invitation, but his mood lifts when JJ suggests they work together on a new woodworking project with Cara and Greg – much to Greg’s frustration.

Meanwhile, Andrew is struggling under the weight of his lies. Flustered and late to Felix’s ‘Welcome Home’ dinner, he immediately draws attention.

Felix takes him aside, noting how unsettled he seems, but Andrew brushes it off and shifts the focus back to Felix, asking how it feels to be home.

He admits he’s grateful, emphasising how much family means to him – a sentiment that lands painfully for Andrew given his recent actions.

Wednesday, October 8

Feeling responsible for pushing the investigation forward, Cara waits anxiously for word on the joint operation targeting the warehouses uncovered on the hard drive. When the raid turns out to be a bust, she’s devastated.

Greg, privately relieved by the failure, does his best to comfort her. Hoping this marks the end of the Linwell reprisals, Greg confronts Tania, insisting he’s done everything asked of him and demanding she leave his family alone.

But Tania refuses – leaving Greg and his loved ones still in danger.

Meanwhile, Felix remains suspicious of Greg’s influence over Cara’s decision to stop him from moving in. He directly questions Greg, but Greg stays tight-lipped – concealing the fact he’s carrying a gun.

Elsewhere, Andrew soothes Holly’s fears for their future after noticing how hurt she is. He admits he’s struggling with the pain their deception is causing and questions how long he can keep it up.

Reassured, the pair commit to planning a life together on the Peninsula. But when the warehouse operation collapses, Andrew tells Holly he won’t be able to join her. Determined not to give up, she vows to go alone, reminding him of his earlier admission and urging him to break things off with Wendy to end the cycle of lies.

Andrew promises he will, but when faced with Wendy’s love and unwavering support, his resolve begins to crumble.

At the same time, Paul is at a loose end without his beloved hotel to meddle in, struggling to find a new focus.

When he learns Elle is also at a crossroads and struggling to find career direction, inspiration strikes. Paul suggests they go into business together – and just like that, a formidable new partnership is born.

Thursday, October 9

Reeling from Tony’s decision to shut down the Linwell investigation after the failed sting, a desperate Cara takes matters into her own hands.

Determined to find evidence that will keep the case alive, she returns to the warehouse where she first encountered Ricky. Her persistence pays off when she uncovers a single unused bullet, which is proof that this isn’t over just yet.

At the same time, Felix’s suspicions continue to mount. Not only does Greg back Tony’s decision and urge Cara to step away from the case, but Felix also spots him deep in conversation with Ricky Denham.

Convinced something isn’t right, Felix searches Greg’s car for a link, only to be caught red-handed. Greg fabricates a quick cover story, but Felix isn’t convinced.

As Greg privately clutches the gun in his possession, the walls begin to close in.

Elsewhere, Elle remains drawn to Felix but admits to Zac that she’s deliberately playing hard-to-get in the hope of winning him over.

Just as she thinks her plan is working, Felix blindsides her with questions about the hit-and-run, clearly fishing for information about Greg.

Elle is left deflated, realising Felix’s interest may not be as personal as she’d hoped.

Meanwhile, Colton notices a mysterious tattoo on Zac’s lower back, something which he’s evasive about. He brushes off Colton’s casual offer for coffee, only to worry afterwards that his defensive reaction has put Colton off.

Attempting to smooth things over, Zac later accepts the invitation for a drink… only for Colton to turn him down this time.

And as Krista wrestles with the choice between Nicolette’s surrogacy offer and her other options, she seeks advice from Terese about the pros and cons.

Still undecided, her perspective shifts when she and Nicolette work together seamlessly while co-parenting Abigail and Isla.

On impulse, Krista announces to Leo and Nicolette that she’s decided to accept the surrogacy offer. The news leaves the two overjoyed – but with Krista unreadable, is she truly as committed as she claims?
