Christmas is usually the most confusing time for fans of the big 3 soaps; Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders, but Easter comes in a close second!
While we’re all looking forward to munching our way through a good old fashioned lamb dinner, copious amounts of crème eggs and, of course, watching the kids open the Easter eggs we bought, ate, and then had to replace, soaps fans are wondering if and when their favourite shows are due to air…
…especially after ITV dropped an episode each of Corrie and Emmerdale this week in favour of live international football coverage that saw England taking on Japan at Wembley Stadium.
But fear not, soap fans! We’ve got you covered, with guides for each of the big three to keep you on track with the goings on in Weatherfield, the Yorkshire Dales and Walford!

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is finally released from prison, though husband Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) and brother Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) are terrified when she goes missing immediately afterward.

Good Friday’s episode is a special two hander focussing on the nations favourite besties, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), as Paddy’s mental heath starts to deteriorate in the face of his impending court case.
The drama for Marlon shows no signs of letting up, though, as next week will see him catch sight of an incredibly tender moment between wife, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and her not-dead-anymore ex, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).
Elsewhere, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) decides to hide his upcoming operation from wife Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), though a conjugal reunion organised by Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) convinces him to open up to her, and she promises that they’ll face everything that’s coming up together, as a couple.
