At least 15 children injured after car crashes into group of people in Berlin

Police and first responders are on the scene of a car accident, where a BMW rammed through a group of people on a busy Berlin street.

Around 1.10 pm on Seestraße, near the corner of Dohnagestell, the car drove into a crowd, leaving at least 15 children in a group injured.

A caregiver for the children, thought to be between seven and eight years old, is reportedly seriously injured.

The driver appeared uninjured as he was questioned by police.

Police, ambulances and other authorities were seen crowded around the accident in photos.

Rubble from a nearby building also appeared to be on the ground, but the situation is still developing.

Children are among those receiving treatment.
