Brooklyn Beckham has shared a defiant message to ‘protect’ wife Nicola Peltz after accusing his family of being disrespectful to her.
In his explosive statement, he claimed his parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, had tried to ‘ruin’ his relationship with his wife.
The 26-year-old chef has now also reportedly fallen out with Gordan Ramsey after he told Brooklyn to ‘remember where he came from’ in an interview.
Amid the swirling family feud, Brooklyn shared a loved-up Valentine’s Day post with a picture of himself and Nicola kissing.
‘Happy Valentine’s Day baby x,’ he wrote. ‘I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my valentines every year x
‘I love you more than you know and I will forever protect and love you x’
His vow to ‘protect’ her comes after his claims that ‘‘The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family”.’
Brooklyn’s statement also accused his parents of trying to ‘sign away his name’ and claimed that Victoria cancelled Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute.
He also said he was only allowed to see Sir David on his birthday on the condition that Nicola ‘was not invited’.
‘My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one,’ he wrote. ‘My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.’
Other than his seemingly pointed use of the word ‘protect’, Brooklyn and Nicola ignored the ongoing feud and shared insight into their Valentine’s plans.
They posted a selection of fancy dishes and two bottles of £2,000 red wine, as well as a snap of the couple’s four fluffy rescue pups, Lamb, Label, Birdie and Angel.
On Nicola’s page, she shared a picture of Brooklyn opening a ‘love letter’, with his hand tattoo with her name on it visible.
Reports had suggested that Posh and Becks had unfollowed their eldest son, as well as Nicola, on Instagram, but Cruz set the record straight.
The aspiring singer was quick to address the claims, writing: ‘NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.’
Cruz, 20, did later extend an olive branch, posting a cute childhood picture of Brooklyn wrapping his arms around his two younger brothers.
Meanwhile, Romeo doubled down on his dedication to the Beckham clan with a tattoo on the back of his neck reading ‘family’.
The ink came after Brooklyn’s ‘DAD’ anchor had been covered up by unknown symbols and the ‘mama’s boy’ on his chest was disguised by Nicola’s wedding bouquet.
Previously, a source told Metro that David is ‘obviously heartbroken’ at this latest snub from his oldest child.
‘David is obviously heartbroken over Brooklyn’s decision to cover up his tribute to him,’ our source shared. ‘It feels like a deep cut, even after everything that was said in his statement.’
While Brooklyn has distanced himself from his family, he is said to still be in touch with his two aunts on his dad’s side.
A source told The Sun: ‘Nicola has kept Joanne and Lynne on her Instagram, too. It says a lot given that they both got rid of Brooklyn’s parents and his brothers there.
‘David and Victoria put a brave face on it all but behind the scenes it’s very upsetting for them.’
Even Gordon Ramsay has weighed in on the feud, confirming to The Sun he was ‘there at the wedding’ and there was ‘nothing salacious’ going on.
‘There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun, having a dance,’ the chef, 59, said before confirming there was ‘nothing of the sort’ when it came to Victoria’s grinding.
The Kitchen Nightmares star added that he is still in contact with the eldest Beckham child, although it has been reported he, too, has now been unfollowed.
The Daily Mail reported that the hot sauce salesman and his wife were ‘furious’ over the interview after he and Gordon had ‘messaged a bit’.
A friend of the families said: ‘Brooklyn and Nicola clearly don’t want any criticism at all. They just don’t want to hear any negativity about themselves.
‘They must hate being talked about unless it’s gushing. Maybe they don’t like the truth.’
Over on Brooklyn’s parent’s instagrams, things were also loved-up with Sir David and Victoria sharing their usual gushing posts about each other.
Both declared they were ‘forever’ each other’s Valentine, with cute throwback snaps together and a ‘date night’ post from the former Spice Girl.
