Cadbury fans are hunting in supermarkets for a rare Chocolate Finger worth £20,000
‘Day one of trying to find the £20k in Chocolate Fingers,’ writes Cissy Jones on TikTok.
The content creator is just one of many Brits currently on the hunt for a rare treat, hidden inside boxes of Cadbury Chocolate Fingers.
The confectionery brand recently brought back its ‘Fingers Crossed’ campaign in the UK, which sees shoppers winning thousands of cash prizes, with up to £20,000 up for grabs.
And all you have to do is head down to your local supermarket and pick up a promotional pack to get involved.
Inside select boxes of Chocolate Fingers, lucky winners will find a ‘crossed finger’, which is where two of the chocolate biscuit treats have been combined and crossed over to form an ‘X’ shape.
If you manage to nab a box with one of these in it, do not eat it right away, as you’ll need proof to claim a prize.
Several devastated Cadbury fans online confessed they’d made the mistake of eating the crossed finger, not knowing what it could have been worth.
‘I’ve gotten so many of those and didn’t realise,’ admitted @_black_white_flower_.
Similarly, @emiliemainz commented: ‘Wait, you’re not supposed to eat them?!’
Alongside a crossed finger, there should be a winning ticket inside the box. This will tell you everything you need to know about what to do next.
Don’t despair if you don’t manage to find one of these, as there’s still another way to win.
Take a closer look at the outer cardboard packaging, and you’ll notice a QR code – if you scan this and submit your details, you might be eligible to win a different prize instantly.

This comes after new Cadbury treats launched at McDonald’s this week.
The chocolate giant has teamed up with the fast food chain to introduce a new Mini Egg Frappe (£3.89) and a Mini Egg McFlurry (£2.59 for a regular).
I gave both a try ahead of the launch, starting with the new Cadbury Mini Egg McFlurry, and I have to say I was a little disappointed with its appearance, which is giving sludgy mess – but thankfully, it tastes much better than it looks.
You can’t really go wrong with the combo of ice cream, chocolate sauce and Mini Eggs, can you? This feels like a dessert I’d have asked my mum to make as a child, but even as an adult, the flavours are still just as enjoyable.
As for the Frappe, this isn’t anything groundbreaking in terms of flavour combinations, but I’m sure it’s bound to be the drink of dreams for Mini Egg fans, and I can see customers going wild for it.
Visually, it’s much nicer to look at than the McFlurry. I’d argue it’s actually quite aesthetic, as the pink and yellow in the Mini Egg dust sprinkled on top really pop against the whipped cream.
The drink itself reminded me of a Nesquik chocolate milkshake, but it’s worth noting that it’s a tad grainy due to the crushed mini Eggs mixed through the base.
If you like a smooth drink, this might not be the one for you, but personally, I enjoyed it.
