Charlotte Chilton reportedly asked Conor Maynard for a second paternity test, as The Traitors’ star claims he’s the father of her child.
Charlotte, 32, has repeatedly claimed the music artist, also 32, was the father of her baby after the pair were introduced at a wrap party for the BBC reality show through their mutual friend Harry Clark, who was dating Conor’s younger sister, Anna.
The TV personality originally did not share the identity of the baby’s father, but ultimately decided she didn’t want it to be a ‘dirty secret’ and named Conor.
After Charlotte gave birth to Penelope last October, Conor finally addressed speculation in March to say a paternity test confirmed he was not her father.
In Conor’s denial that he was the father, he wrote: ‘I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end.
‘All I would ask is that people act with kindness in response to this news – there is a child at the heart of all of this, and that should not be forgotten. I wish Charlotte and her family all the best.’
However, Charlotte subsequently claimed an ‘unidentified male was present’ when the singer’s DNA sample was collected. A second paternity test has since reportedly been carried out, which proves Conor is not Penelope;s father, The Sun reported.

Charlotte and Conor were reportedly swabbed earlier this week and received the results via email last night.
A source told the publication: ‘Charlotte is shell-shocked by the news. She has been fighting for the truth to come out for the past 18 months during an already difficult time as a first-time single mum.
‘It’s never been about the fact Conor is in the public eye or has money behind him. Charlotte had no intention of ‘trapping’ him. It’s always been about having Penny’s father’s name on the birth certificate. Her little girl deserves that.
‘She’s reeling from the result and is now considering where she goes from here.’

January 26, 2024: Charlotte and Conor are introduced to each other through mutual friend, The Traitors co-star Harry Clarke, at the season two wrap party.
April 24: Charlotte announces she is pregnant with a ‘miracle’ baby on social media but does not reveal who the father is. At the time she called the news ‘a shock to say the least’.
June 5: Charlotte reveals to Metro that Conor is the father of her baby. Conor does not address these reports publicly.
June 22: In an interview with The Sun, Charlotte claimed Conor has ‘turned on her’ upon hearing she was pregnant.
August: Charlotte is hospitalised after suffering from a ‘painful and debilitating’ condition as she shares her difficult pregnancy experience to her followers. She maintains that Conor is the father of her baby.
October 18: Her daughter, Penelope, is born. Days later, Conor posts to social media but does not address this latest development.
November 24: Charlotte says she has still ‘not heard anything’ and claimed that Penelope like ‘identical’ to him. She added that she ‘wouldn’t deny [Conor] contact if Penelope wants to see him’ in the future.
March 14, 2025:Conor finally releases a statement that a paternity test with legal representative present proved he is not the father of this baby. He wished Charlotte and Penelope the best with hopes of ‘putting speculation to rest’.
March 19: Charlotte is yet to directly address Conor’s statement, and has only posted one photo to social media of her daughter. A source told The Sun that Charlotte is questioning the accuracy of the results and wants to ensure Conor takes another test.
‘It’s been an exhausting fight between them,’ the source added.
The same day Conor posts to Instagram about starting ‘a new chapter’ with his partner Kitty as they move into a new home together.
A spokesperson for Conor told the publication they hoped that by agreeing to a second test that ‘Charlotte can finally put this behind her once and for all’.
In a statement, Charlotte’s representative thanked their ‘rockstar’ legal advisors, adding: ‘For those of you who have followed Charlotte’s journey since her appearance on BBC’s The Traitors, will know she has fought an extraordinary battle for truth and justice with heartfelt conviction.
‘We are forever grateful to everyone who has shown unwavering love and support to Charlotte over the past 12 months.
‘Charlotte will now take time to process, heal and reflect and when she is ready, she will finally share her story in full.’
Conor is currently dating a woman named Kitty Bertrand, who he moved in with earlier this year.
Following the first paternity test, Conor appeared on This Morning to address the fallout and spoke about his ‘new chapter’.
He said: ‘I was instantly painted as a deadbeat dad. My comments on my social media were all about that.
‘When the result came in I can’t even begin to explain to you the feeling.’
