Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) is the first person to suspect Megan Walsh’s (Beth Nixon) relationship with Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) has blurred and inappropriate boundaries in Coronation Street, but proving his theory is more difficult than he thought.

The youngster started to wonder if something wasn’t quite right when he found a tracksuit top in the flat and Megan claimed it belonged to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

This raised enough alarm bells for Sam to confront Will, who of course made excuses before reporting back to Megan in full on panic mode.

Although Megan confronted Sam and tried to scare him into dropping his allegations without giving anything away, the pint-sized Poirot was like a dog with a bone, determined to save his friend from the clutches of his abuser.

In upcoming episodes, Sam tells Daniel that he’s going to revise in the salon flat for a little while as Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) is away.

Meanwhile, Megan tells Will that she’s got the flat to herself for a few nights, and he quickly gets to work lying to Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) about a mate inviting him over for the evening. Ben tells him he can’t go, but changes his mind when Will and Daniel clear the air.

Will packs a bag and approaches the flat, unaware Sam is watching as Megan buzzes him in.

Sam lets himself into the flat the next day which startles Megan. She then heads off, and tells Will about what Sam has been doing. She says they need to get him on their side, so Will gets to work forming a plan.

In the Bistro, Will offers Sam some vodka and he accepts, hoping to get some more information out of him. In the precinct, Will assures Sam that his relationship with Megan is purely professional, but he isn’t convinced. The duo are interrupted by the arrival of Daniel. Will scarpers quickly, leaving Sam to take the blame.

Later, the teen is thrilled to finally log onto his hidden camera app and see Megan and Will entering the flat together.

Towards the end of the week, Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), Leanne, Megan and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) head out for the evening.

As Megan heads to the bar, she manages to grab a quiet word with Sam. She spells out that if he ever decides to blab, nobody will believe him anyway.

Having recharged his phone, Sam watches the latest video from the hidden camera – is this enough proof?

If so, what will Megan do to stop more people discovering what she’s been doing?
