Every Sony PS5 game on PC is up to 60% off right now in Steam sale

While Xbox weathers angry complaints over its Game Pass changes, Sony is running some attractive discounts on its PC ports.

The Steam autumn sale kicked off a lot earlier than usual this year, bringing the usual gamut of extremely attractive discounts on swathes of PC games.

It can be easy to overlook good deals, given how many games are included in the sale, with Sony in particular running its own sale in conjunction with Steam, for PC ports of first party PlayStation 5 games.

Every PlayStation Studios game, plus a few other Sony published titles from external studios, is part of the sale and far more affordable than usual, since they’re upwards of 60% off.

The headliner is Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut, which is down from £49.99 to £33.49. No doubt Sony intends on drawing in new fans who may then feel compelled to grab the newly released sequel, Ghost Of Yōtei on PlayStation 5.

Or at least they might be more willing to pay full price for the inevitable PC port once that comes out. It’s not officially confirmed, but it’s most assuredly going to happen, but not until at least next year.

If you were among those who balked at Spider-Man 2’s initial asking price of £70, when it launched, you’re bound to feel vindicated seeing it go for £39.99 in the sale.

Insomniac’s other two Spider-Man games are even cheaper, thanks to having their prices slashed in half, with the first game’s remaster now £24.99 and the Miles Morales game at £19.99.

The best deal of the bunch, though, is perhaps the Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection since that’s two games in one and only costs £15.99.

If you only have the money for one PlayStation purchase, however, then we’d recommend Returnal. It’s easily Sony’s best first party exclusive of the PlayStation 5 era and is currently half off at £24.99. Plus it’ll get you hyped for spiritual sequel Saros.

We’ve included the full list of Sony published games below, along with links to their Steam listings. But be aware that the sale ends on Monday, October 6, so you only have so much time to take advantage of it.

In a happy coincidence for Sony, this sale has arrived around the same time as Microsoft’s decision to rework how Xbox Game Pass works, with its Ultimate tier seeing a price increase to £22.99 a month.

That’s about £276 a year, which can be spent on this Sony sale instead and net you roughly 11 copies of Returnal to gift to your friends.
