A commuter in a hi-viz jacket became an instant hero after he intervened in a fight over vaping on a crowded London train.
Commuters were left outraged after a swarm of teens appeared to be vaping inside an Elizabeth line carriage during rush hour, leading to a violent confrontation and shouting, with bystanders caught in between.
The tense situation escalated into a fistfight after the brazen e-cig puffing, which is banned along with any form of smoking on Transport for London network.
Footage posted on social media appears to show at least one teen sucking on a candy coloured vape while facing other passengers.
She then blows thick smoke directly on the face of a man, who is standing nearby with his headphones on.
One man can be heard ordering her to ‘stop smoking on train,’ which has little impact as the exchange grows more heated.
The girl, wearing a cap, appears to tell the passenger to ‘turn around’ if he minds the vape smoke, with someone yelling ‘d*****ad’ in the background.
She appears to try to spit at the man who told her repeatedly to stop vaping.
A fight then breaks out in the chaos, which was filmed by a fellow passenger.
People try to take cover as punches land between some of the teens and angered commuters.
Eventually, a man wearing a high-visibility work jacket intervenes along with other fed-up passengers.
