Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s (October 1) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm.
Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) has struck again, claiming the lives of not one but two people as he evaded justice.
The crazed serial killer, who actually believes that taking lives is his destiny, has murdered countless individuals over the years, with his killing spree thought to date back decades.
Since his arrival in the eponymous village a little two years ago (in-universe), he’s murdered Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham) and Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe).
DS Bolton and social worker Ian Stone were also killed by his hand and it was confirmed that beloved former character Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini) is one of his many victims.
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), who assisted him in covering up the murder of cousin Dilly, desperately clung onto hope that her devilish father had turned over a new leaf and ceased the killing but she uncovered the truth earlier this year – and was left devastated.
Jez subsequently framed her for his crimes, with the entire village believing that Sienna was the killer – not Jez.

Sienna, meanwhile, was held prisoner of the Love Boat for weeks with best friend Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), who Jez ordered her to kill so that she could – according to him – fulfil her destiny and become a killer too.
Sienna’s own sister Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) even believed Jez’s lies but the scales fell from her eyes earlier this week when Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) put two and two together, confronting Jez about his crimes during Tony Hutchinson’s (Nick Pickard) plea hearing.
Tony, as viewers know, was facing jail after Jez framed him for Bobby’s murder and things took a turn when grieving mum Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) arrived at the courthouse, horrified to see Jez holding Tony prisoner.
Realising that Jez was to blame, Mercy whacked the killer over the head, knocking him unconscious. Jez was taken away in an ambulance but he subsequently woke in the vehicle, murdering the policeman who was watching over him.
Upon securing his freedom, he retrieved mum Martha (Sherrie Hewson) and Sienna, hellbent on escaping the village once and for all.
Dodger, however, arrived in the nick of time, with Sienna racing into her brother’s arms and away from her crazed dad, notifying the policeman of Ste’s ailing health on the boat.

Martha, meanwhile, made it quite clear that she didn’t want to be part of Jez’s crimes any longer and, in brutal scenes, Jez stabbed his mum.
Sienna, Dodger and Lib were horrified and raced to Martha but it was too late – she had died. Jez, meanwhile, is in the wind after fleeing captivity. Will he be found before he claims any more lives?
Sherrie Hewson, who joined Hollyoaks as Martha last year, confirmed to Metro last week that her exit from the show was ‘horrific’.
‘It’s horrific!,’ she said. ‘It’s really horrible, for me and for the other person.
‘So it’s really, really horrific and unexpected and shocking for every reason. And I can’t say anymore because I’d have to kill you!’
Hollyoaks will turn 30 later this month and bosses will be going all out to mark the occasion.
Brookside will also be staging a comeback as part of the celebrations, with a historic Hollyoaks Brookie crossover on the cards.
Hollyoaks Later will also be returning for a one-off special and if history has taught us anything about the late-night spin-off, fans can expect it to be dark.
Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on Channel 4’s streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
