Former Hollyoaks star Roxanne Mckee has confirmed she is pregnant with her first child.
The actress, who is 45, played the role of Louise Summers in the Channel 4 soap from 2005-2008.
She shared the news of her pregnancy on her Instagram, posting a variety of black and white pictures showing off her baby bump.
The snaps also revealed Roxanne’s boyfriend for the first time. The first image is of Roxanne posing in the mirror, the next is of her kissing her partner, while the third is of them posing in a reflection, with Roxanne’s bump on show.
‘Joint project’ she simply wrote in the caption.
Plenty of Roxanne’s followers shared sweet congratulatory messages in the comments section.
A number of famous faces from the acting industry posted kind responses as well.
Laila Rouass, known for a variety of roles in shows including EastEnders and Holby City, said: ‘WHAAAAT! Congrats’, while Emmerdale’s Anthony Quinlan said ‘Amazing news! Congratulations’.
Roxanne’s character Louise was killed in 2008 by fiancé Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas). She was strangled by him on their wedding day, shortly after Louise discovered he had murdered her former husband Sean Kennedy (Matthew Jay Lewis).
Louise’s body was placed in a hotel room and then set alight, so Warren could cover his tracks.
Following her departure from the soap, Roxanne has gone on to appear in a variety of dramas including Game of Thrones, where she played Doreah.
She was also in the cast of Lip Service on BBC Three, and Dominion.
More recently, Roxanne has featured in the horror film Bambi: The Reckoning.
It’s a big year for Hollyoaks, as the show will celebrate 30 years on our screens in October.
Last month, it was revealed that the soap is offering you a chance to take part in the massive milestone.
In the lead up to the anniversary, fans were given the chance to be crowned the serial’s ultimate super-fan.
In a move that is pure Hollyoaks, the winner be invited onto the show’s iconic set to film an exclusive scene, with their character ‘killed’ by local serial killer Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield).

There is currently very little known about what the 30th anniversary will entail, with bosses keeping tight-lipped, but Ste Hay star Kieron Richardson told Metro: ‘There’s been a huge rumour going round the building of what is actually happening on the 30th.
‘I’ve done a lot of these interviews and I’ve probably lied to you in the past going “We don’t know what’s happening in the future!”, but I promise you, hand on heart, we genuinely do not know what’s happening for the 30th.
‘There have been some rumours and I would say if this rumour is true it will be the most epic viewing the audience would ever have watching episodes of Hollyoaks. Epic!‘
