Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has revealed he lied on his CV after claiming that he studied at Cambridge University and has a PhD.
The self-proclaimed millionaire had also stated on his LinkedIn profile that he was a Member Of The Board of Advisors for the Labour Party and Director of Philanthropy at The King’s Trust, formerly The Prince’s Trust. Both of which denied these roles.
Lee, who tied the knot with Katie in a surprise ceremony in Dubai earlier this year, has now addressed rumours that he’s a conman which have plagued him since the beginning of their whirlwind romance.
He also addressed fraud allegations after he was accused of ‘failing to pay a woman back $1000’ following her investment in his dissolved business.
Speaking to The Sun, Lee said of his elaborate CV: ‘I think that’s been hyped up and made to look better than what it is and it needs to come down.’
He went on to blame the errors on a former personal assistant, saying: ‘I can’t take the showmanship of it, but I’ll take the accountability. The PA no longer works for me now anyway, for other reasons — probably because of that.’
He added that he does not manage his own LinkedIn or social media accounts.
He also insists that he has met Kim Kardashian and that he works ‘with her mother directly’, despite her team confirming this wasn’t the case.
Lee also addressed his business dealings after being accused multiple times of scamming past love interests.
One woman claimed Lee reached out to her with the promise she could ‘double her money in ten days’ if she invested in his business.
She said: ‘I sent $1000, which is almost 4000 Dubai Dirham. I sent it to his personal bank account but didn’t question it at first. When I asked for it back, he said he would pay it back.’
Despite official paperwork showing his business was dissolved in 2024, Lee insists that the company is most certainly not dissolved, adding ‘100 per cent it’s there’. The woman still claims she hasn’t received the money back.
It comes after Katie revealed that they did not sign a prenuptial agreement before getting legally married.
However, despite accusations from exes about Lee being a con artist and him allegedly spending three weeks in prison for fraud, resulting in him being unable to leave the country, Katie is adamant that he’s legit.
‘I want to get to know him. He wants to get to know me,’ she said.
Lee has yet to meet Katie’s children, nor has he met her sister, Sophie, or mum, Amy.
He has spoken to her kids over FaceTime, though, and even has her eldest son Harvey’s name tattooed on his hand.
