Katie Price’s new husband Lee Andrews has got a tattoo of her son Harvey’s name despite the fact they’ve never actually met.
Since marrying the Dubai-based businessman in late January, the former glamour model has been jetting back and forth from the UK to visit her partner after reports emerged he was subject to a ‘travel ban’.
Soon after the pair tied the knot, reports emerged that Lee, 41, was unable to leave the United Arab Emirates after previously spending three weeks in jail for allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend’s signature to take out a £200,000 loan in her name.
Although he denies this, Lee does not have appeared to leave the country since marrying Katie. He’s also not met any of her children.
Despite this fact, he’s now inked himself with a tribute to her eldest son, 23.
In photos of Lee’s new tattoo, Harvey’s name is printed on the side of his left hand. Designed with a curvy font, it is also accompanied by an image of a frog, Harvey’s favourite animal.
As well as this, Lee also has a new ‘Katie’ tattoo in honour of his new wife. He previously got her name inked on his right hand, while the new one has been placed on his ring finger.
This morning Lee also shared a photo of a drawing that Harvey had made for him – which portrayed Katie and Lee as frogs and saw Harvey refer to Lee as ‘Daddy’.
Captioning the post, Lee wrote: ‘Harvey’s beautiful picture for me and his mummy. Aww Daddy Lee x Cute. If you love your wife your love their children [sic].’
He later went on to share a photo showing him holding a naked Katie up, with a caption placed across her bare bum to protect her decency reading: ‘It’s just true love.’
When Katie’s whirlwind engagement and marriage to Lee was revealed, her family were said to have been left ‘blindsided’.
At the time a source told Metro that her loved ones ‘almost don’t accept that [her new relationship] is real’.
‘They’ve never met or spoken to Lee and are concerned over how he portrays himself online and whether he is who he says he is. The relationship has come out of nowhere,’ the source explained.
‘Princess and Junior don’t know who Lee is and the idea of him potentially becoming their step-dad is unexpected to say the least.’
They added: ‘Everyone hopes now that Katie is back in the UK they can gain some clarity over what is going on and what her long-term plans are with him.’
Speaking to The Sun this week, Princess said she ‘doesn’t know anything’ about her mum’s new husband.
‘All I know is he proposed to my mum after knowing her a week,’ she said.
Meanwhile her brother Junior said he was ‘confused’, calling the speedy union a ‘bombshell’.
‘At this point, I don’t know what to think. She’s flipping married him,’ he quipped. ‘I don’t know the guy, so it’s shocking. Of course it is. It is weird.’
‘I would have liked to know what’s been going on, what it’s leading up to, but everyone lives their lives and has their own thing,’ he then reasoned.
He also then went on to defend his mum, saying: ‘She’s not a bad person; she’s a great mum. The main thing is if this guy can treat mum respectfully; that’s all I care about.’
Last week Katie said she was waiting for the right time to introduce her kids to Lee, ‘even if it takes a year’.
‘They need stability,’ she also told The Sun, despite the fact she’s now having to split her time between the UK and Dubai.
Katie is a mum-of-five – also sharing son Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, with ex-husband Peter Andre.
Meanwhile Harvey, who was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism, and septo-optic dysplasia, requires around-the-clock support.
Katie and Lee recently left many shocked after heavily teasing they were set to welcome a child together.
Just four weeks into their relationship, the couple dropped a series of hints they were expecting, with Katie posting on social media: ‘Please just enjoy watching us build our empire as I’m having his child. I’ll enjoy the ride and big d**k energy now I’m in the saddle.’
Meanwhile Lee wrote in a post that they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.
But after attempting to charge fans for an update, Katie then revealed she was in fact not pregnant.
In a clip shared online, she shared: ‘So everyone, do you want to know the answer? Here’s the answer. No, I’m not pregnant – but one day I will be.’
‘Hopefully that clears all the speculation up. Just because we say we’ll have kids, [it’s because] one day I will. There’s your answer…not pregnant,’ she added.
Since their wedding in January, Lee has claimed to be heading to England several times but is yet to have made the trip – which comes amid his ‘travel ban’, but as well as ongoing flight chaos in the UAE after the country’s airspace was shut down last week after being targeted by Iranian missile strikes.
Katie and Lee met online before getting engaged a week later and married two days after that.
