Katie Price is ready for her next act, and this time she wants it taken seriously.
After turning heads with a performance at the 11th annual The Gossies 2026 at Dublin’s RDS Concert Hall, the former glamour model and TV personality, 47, is reportedly feeling more determined than ever to relaunch her music career.
A source tells Metro that Price is ‘feeling better than ever’ and has her sights firmly set on the charts.
‘She really wants to prove herself as a singer and is confident she could compete in the charts,’ they say.
‘She knows people have never taken her seriously as a singer and has always been seen as a joke. She wants to prove everyone wrong.’
Saturday night’s ceremony brought together Irish and UK talent under a glittering Under the Sea theme.
Hosted for the second consecutive year by Ireland AM presenter and social media star Eric Roberts, the evening celebrated stars across 19 categories spanning music, broadcasting, television, and digital media
Price ensured that one of the night’s most talked-about moments unfolded on stage.
Dressed in a daring sheer gown, she performed her self-proclaimed number one single I Got U and offered her own take on Jermaine Stewart’s We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off, strutting across the stage with visible confidence.
‘Loved performing last night at the Gossies even without a sound check,’ she wrote on social media after the show. ‘Performed my number one hit too. Also no sound check but I loved it.’
Clips shared online show Price laughing, dancing, and pointing into the crowd as fans sang along.
Her husband, Lee Andrews, was notably absent, reportedly stranded in Dubai due to the ongoing conflict with Iran.
The whirlwind romance has taken yet another turn as Lee’s absence fuels rumours that he is actually unable to leave the UAE.
The couple became engaged mere days after meeting, tying the knot in the same week without Katie’s family knowing anything about it beforehand.
It’s apparently driven a wedge between the reality star and her sister, as well as reports that even daughter Princess was ‘blindsided’.
Yet Price seemed unfazed by Lee’s absence and by the ongoing drama surrounding her marriage, embracing the solo appearance.
Whether the charts are ready for a Katie Price resurgence remains to be seen.
But if her Gossies appearance is any indication, she is prepared to bet on herself, sound check or not.
