Amazon Prime Video’s Last One Laughing might well be the funniest show on TV.

Following a group of comedians who gather for a six-hour face-off to see who can go the longest without laughing, the second installment has produced similarly hilarious outcomes.

Observing the squirming cast once more, Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty look on at the comedian’s desperate attempts to make people break.

Meanwhile, the likes of Celebrity Traitors victor Alan Carr, returning champ Bob Mortimer, Motherland star Diane Morgan and the underdog contender Sam Campbell have rounded out the cast.

Earlier this week, Martin Lewis issued a hilarious response to Alan after an X-rated joke was aimed at the money-saving expert.

However, following last night’s episode, viewers have been left furious over the ‘most unfair red card so far’.

Joining Bob, Alan, Diane and Sam, the second season of Last One Laughing includes David Mitchell, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc and Gbemisola Ikumelo.

The gags have been coming thick and fast, with many unable to hold on to their poker faces.

However, in episode four beloved comedian Romesh was eliminated from the competition.

In the end, it was host Jimmy who hid in a cupboard and propositioned him, which finally made him break his composure.

Reacting to the moment on X, many fans felt it was unfair, as Hannah argued: ‘Romesh deserved better.’

Naomi also wrote: ‘Harsh!!! Yes Jimmy… very dickish! Can’t go after Romesh like that!! At least go after David or Sam who don’t have cards! #lastonelaughing #lastonelaughinguk.’

Jayneel added: ‘That was DIRTY play on Romesh. I 100% agree about it being unfair. #LastOneLaughing #LastOneLaughingUK #LOLUK.’

Robbie, meanwhile, claimed: ‘I know it’s a laugh and it shouldn’t matter but romesh got absolutely dogged in this ep. If it happens to everyone then fair enough.’

Agreeing, James said: ‘Maybe the most unfair red card so far, as Sydney commented: ‘I know he’s playing around but i think romesh is right and he shouldn’t be out because jimmy singled him out.’

Currently, Last One Laughing has been doing serious business on Amazon and sits at the top of the streamer’s list of top 10 films and TV shows. 

It remains to be seen, though, whether Mortimer will triumph once again.
