It seems that everyone and their nan on Coronation Street is desperate for Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) to make things right with Carla Connor (Alison King) – but the detective sergeant has bigger worries on her plate.
As a new spoiler video reveals, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) may currently be enjoying a stay at His Majesty’s pleasure, but she’s nowhere near finished with wife – or should that be, soon-to-be-ex-wife? – Lisa.
The nation cheered as Lisa slapped a pair of handcuffs on Becky and reeled off her lengthy list of crimes as she read her her rights after the epic multi-vehicle pile-up that took centre stage in Corriedale last night. But if you thought that was the end of things where Becky is concerned, then you’re set to be sorely disappointed.
We’ve seen the woman return from faking her own death, have her boss attacked, firebomb her family’s home and keep love-rival Carla imprisoned in an airing cupboard for weeks, all to have Lisa to herself. She was never going to give up without a fight.
Thankfully, Lisa has finally seen through Becky’s manipulation and realised what a crook she is. If only Becky could see that it’s time to cut her losses and accept defeat. Like, seriously, Becky, read the room.
However, that isn’t happening anytime soon if the new spoiler video is anything to go by, as Lisa is faced with a letter from the prison. Though she makes out that it’s nothing but junk to Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), it clearly leaves her rattled.
Having had her life destroyed by Becky one too many times already, Lisa is set to pay her a visit behind bars in upcoming scenes, where she will make it clear that she wants nothing more to do with her and will happily let her rot in prison.
And in a shock to absolutely no one, Becky does not take this well.
Next week, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) is horrified to learn that her worst fears may be set to come true as Becky threatens to take Lisa down with her.
The teen decides to visit her mum herself, and when she gets there, Becky’s anger is evident. Will she really go through with annihilating Lisa’s future after all the efforts she went to to win her back?
Even if she doesn’t, the damage Becky has already done can’t be repaired overnight.

Although Becky is behind bars, there is still animosity between Lisa and Carla, despite the fact that they clearly still care very deeply for one another.
In the spoiler clip, Kit urges Lisa to make amends with Carla while she still has the chance.
Kit is well aware of how close Lisa came to losing Carla forever. After days of searching, he was the one to finally find her bound and gagged in a shipping container, having been moved from the flat and left to die by Becky.
Having been without her anti-rejection medication, Carla was in bad shape when Kit found her. Any longer and she likely wouldn’t have survived. Knowing how close she came to not making it, will Carla seize the day and agree to try again with Lisa?
