Not to be dramatic, but I might have just found London’s coolest loo.
Or rather, the bathroom is cool, the toilet itself is pretty bog-standard. See what I did there?
And before you ask, no, it’s not Sketch and its iconic egg-shaped space pods. This particular loo is cool for a very different reason, namely the jaw-dropping view it offers of the city’s skyline.
You’ll find the impressive bathrooms at Decimo, a restaurant with a menu that mixes Mexican and Spanish cuisine, located on floor 10 of The Standard Hotel on Argyle Street.
I recently visited Decimo to review it for Metro’s Slice newsletter, and spoiler alert: it was wonderful.

And while so many things about the visit have held my attention ever since – from the Caesar Salad trolley to the delicious cocktails – I have to admit, I can’t stop thinking about the loos.
That might be a weird thing to say, but it’s the truth.
It’s probably got something to do with the fact that I just wasn’t prepared for what I’d see in there.
As soon as you walk in, you’re met with floor-to-ceiling windows across the entire space, and 10 floors up, you can really see EVERYTHING.
And I do mean everything – from The Shard, to St Paul’s and the London Eye.
If that weren’t enough, the interior design is incredibly chic, with mid-century modern touches.
Inside, you’ll find large curved wooden mirrors and round sinks, positioned in a way that makes each one feel like your own personal little vanity table.
If I could do my make-up there each morning, with that view as the backdrop, I’d be one happy girl.
And I’m not the only one enamoured with Decimo’s bathrooms. On social media, several other visitors have declared them ‘stunning’, with @lowfo_options proclaiming on TikTok that the restaurant offers ‘some of the best bathroom views in London’.
Similarly, @thebigsmokelondon commented: ‘Views for dayyyys.’
And @honestfoodieuk said they were ‘top tier bathroom views’.
While @byrosielouise added: ‘OBSESSED with these amazing loos in this super cool London restaurant.’
This comes after London’s ‘loo of the year’ for 2025 was recently revealed.
The bizarre accolade was unofficially awarded by Gemma Wardle, who runs the TikTok account @loos_of_london, a page dedicated to reviewing and experiencing some of the most luxurious toilet seats this country has to offer.
Her winning loo for last year was Jacuzzi in Kensington, an Italian restaurant that’s part of the Big Mamma Group and is known for its lavish interiors.
Which London loo do you prefer: Jacuzzi or Decimo?

Decimo

Jacuzzi
With over 12,000 views and 50 comments, it was ultimately chosen ‘due to its incredible mirrored sparkle and disco-tinged glow – a genuine social media magnet.’
And it’s true. Visitors have become truly obsessed with the city hotspot, with countless videos showing off the toilets rather than the dining room.
Gemma herself described the vibe in Jacuzzi’s loos as an ’80s erotica extravaganza,’ going on to add: ‘Once you’re inside, you’ll feel as though you’ve been teleported to an Italian disco.’
