We are all aware that sizes on the high street aren’t always the best or most reliable – you can be a size 12 in one shop, and a size 16 in another. It can often feel like we’re constantly second-guessing the correct size and fit of our clothing, but add in your height, and you’ve got a whole other field of problems. The lengths and cuts of jeans, dresses, and skirts vary widely by brand, so trying endless items on feels like a headache waiting to happen. Whilst a few brands offer extended collections for petite and tall girlies, the offerings aren’t always the best.

One brand that is changing this is none other than the effortless and playful brand Nobody’s Child, and they’ve just launched a sparkling new petite edit just in time for Spring. However, this isn’t just any range, as the brand has partnered up with British TV star, wellness advocate and best-selling author Louise Thompson.

Designed and curated with Louise’s personal journey of self-acceptance and navigating the world of finding the right size clothing, the 23-piece collection is the perfect investment to create a fresh and brilliant-fitting Spring capsule wardrobe with prices starting from £59.

Whether you’re after a new floaty dress for an upcoming holiday, want to elevate your workwear with a new pair of tailored trousers, or need that reliable co-ord that you can always reach for on those day’s where you don’t know what to wear, this edit will solve all of your problems.

One of our most favourite sets in the range has to be the green check boucle outfit. The Short Sleeved Boucle Jacket which retails for £135, is an investment piece that will see you through this season and beyond as it’s a truly versatile item to own. Wear it with jeans, and a white tee for a sleek off-duty vibe, or pair it with a slip dress and heels in the summer for a more formal edge. Better yet, wear it with the matching Green Check Boucle Tailored Shorts costing £79, for a chic cohesive ensemble that will have everyone asking where your outfit is from.

Another stand out co-ord from the range is the Green Polka Dot Longline Tailored Waistcoat, £85, and Green Polka Dot Capri Trousers, £75 which will serve as a gorgeous garden party outfit, or day out with the girls.

This dreamy Butter Yellow Bandeau Kiva Midi Dress looks like it’s worth a lot more than it’s price tag at £110. The look can be changed up from a sleek bandeau style, to a halterneck with a quick addition of a detachable tie-fastening neckline. Whilst the relaxed skirt adds a gentle drape and softness to the overall appearance. Think of it as the modern day How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days iconic yellow dress.

For Spring, you cannot go wrong with a pair of dungarees, and we might have just found our favourite. The Mid Blue Denim Straight Leg Dungarees from Louise’s collection cost £99 and will serve as your day-to-day saviour when planning outfits. Layer under a cosy cardigan or jumper, or pop them over a classic Breton striped t-shirt, this is another wardrobe essential you’ll never tire of wearing.

Speaking about the collection, Louise said, ‘I’ve been a fan of Nobody’s Child for years, so getting to create a petite edit together was such a pinch-me moment. As someone who’s petite, I know how good it feels when you put something on and it works perfectly! This edit is all about easy spring pieces that fit properly, feel amazing and make getting dressed that little bit more fun.’

When it comes to petite dressing it is primarily designed for women who are 5’ 3” and under. Nobody’s Child uses the same basic sizing scale as their main range, but they’ve altered the shoulders, repositioned the waistlines, bust darts, and knee positioning, and re-created the lengths to perfectly match a petite frame. So, don’t waste any time snapping up your favourites as sizes are already starting to sell out.
