The M25 has been shut in Essex after a lorry caught on fire just near the Lakeside Shopping Centre, causing traffic jams.

Drivers on the motorway have been warned to expect delays of up to 60 minutes while firefighters put out the flames.

The carriageway has been closed on the M25 between J30 (A13) and J29 (A127) going anticlockwise since 12.35pm, according to Essex Highways.
