Maura Higgins appeared to complete her transition into US superstar by ditching her Irish accent.
The former Love Island star, 35, has been spending the majority of her time Stateside while appearing on the current series of The Traitors US.
But Maura returned to the UK over the weekend to attend the star-studded Baftas red carpet on Sunday as she mingled with A-listers.
While making her way to have photos taken, Maura was filmed in an interaction with a fan as she appeared to adopt an American accent.
‘Hi, I’m good, nice to see you,’ the reality star is heard telling the fan, who compliments her glamorous look, to which she replies; ‘Thank you so much.’
The TV star wore a dramatic red satin dress to the awards ceremony, with a flowing train that followed her down the carpet.
It’s not the first big event she’s attended, after posing for photos at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles last month.
Maura has won over US fans while competing on The Traitors alongside a host of high-profile names in a star-studded cast.
Hosted by the charming Alan Cumming, previous series in the US have included a mix of athletes and reality TV royalty.
This time around, Maura has been joined by the likes of Travis Kelce’s mother Donna, Lisa Rinna, Tiffany Mitchell and Porsha Williams.
A source said: ‘When the Traitors came knocking, she knew it could turn things around for her. Maura jumped straight into action. She was a woman who had something to prove.’
She first appeared on American television in 2023, becoming the social media presenter for Love Island USA and the Love Island Games.
Just one year later she then became the host of Love Island USA: Aftersun.
Maura has also just made her acting debut in Irish comedy, The Spin, having ‘impressed big Hollywood executives’ with her appearance.
