Abuja, Nigeria – Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Ph.D., recently welcomed the new management team of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for a courtesy visit in Abuja. The delegation was led by the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPC.
The meeting centered on strengthening collaborative efforts between the Nigerian government and NNPC to drive growth and sustainability within the country’s vital oil and gas sector.
Senator Lokpobiri emphasized the critical role of effective governance, transparency, and strategic partnerships in maximizing the potential of Nigeria’s petroleum resources for the benefit of its citizens. Discussions also addressed key challenges facing the sector and explored potential solutions through enhanced cooperation.
