Nottingham Forest have sacked Ange Postecoglou just minutes after their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.
Just 18 minutes after the final whistle at the City Ground, Forest brutally confirmed the Australian’s exit after just eight games in charge.
Postecoglou was brought into replace Nuno Espirito Santo in August but departs without registering a single win.
‘A statement from the club read: Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect. The Club will make no further comment at this time.’
