For Olivia Attwood, there’s reportedly no going back after splitting from Bradley Dack.
In January, rumours began swirling that the married couple had parted ways after a ‘breach of trust’ from the 32-year-old footballer.
Shortly after, ITV presenter Olivia, 34, ditched her wedding ring and her £200,000 engagement ring and unfollowed her husband of almost three years on Instagram.
Then, this weekend, after much speculation about what led to their relationship’s demise, Olivia finally gave confirmation, issuing a statement to say she simply wants ‘to be happy’, and she wishes the same for her now-ex.
And in the latest developments, it’s been claimed that Olivia views the breakup as ‘final’ and is already taking steps to finalise a divorce.
‘Olivia is already talking about divorce because it is feeling very final and over for her,’ the insider told The Sun.
‘She’s worked too hard on her career to let it fall apart because of her relationship going south.’
They added that Olivia, who recently moved into a new London apartment by herself, is now ‘getting her ducks in a row and thinking of the future’.
‘She’s still determined to focus on work and knows she can’t just fall apart.’
The source also says she now needs ‘space away from Bradley’, having spent 10 years together.
Despite being a strong unit for a decade, though, Olivia is now more than capable of standing on her own two feet as far as finances are concerned.
Since entering the Love Island villa in 2017 – having applied in an act of revenge after Bradley actually cheated on her before they reunited – her career has only rocketed.
From brand partnerships to her own collections, and from fronting several of her own series to becoming an ITV daytime regular, there’s no denying she’s become a household name in the UK.
As such, additional sources declare that she ‘doesn’t need’ Bradley anymore, with his footie career somewhat stagnating while she remains on an upwards trajectory.
‘In the beginning of their relationship, he was obviously the big earner as a footballer, and she now firmly stands on her own two feet,’ the source told the Daily Mail.
‘She doesn’t need him at all anymore; she can be totally independent.’
Olivia, who previously worked as a grid girl at motorsport events, is said to boast an eye-watering net worth of £6million, which explains the £1m Cheshire mansion she previously shared with Brad.
Her earnings come from the thousands she earns each time she appears on Loose Women, plus the alleged six-figure sum she receives annually for her Sunday Roast radio show on Kiss FM, which she co-hosts with best friend Pete Wicks.
Olivia is also raking it in via brand collaborations, having received £250k for her Abbott Lyon jewellery line, plus six figures from her Maybelline makeup deal.
Solidifying her as one of Love Island’s most successful stars and highest earners, she, of course, makes big bucks from her various programmes, which include Getting Filthy Rich, Bad Boyfriends, and The Price of Perfection. It’s claimed she earns £350k for each series.
As for her other half, however, while his own earnings are certainly not to be sniffed at, they’re a stark contrast to hers.
It’s claimed Bradley previously earned £18k per week when playing for Blackburn, but his paydays dropped to £3.5k weekly when he returned to Gillingham FC, as per Salary Sport.
Olivia has never been shy when it comes to celebrating her wins or showcasing her designer splurges online.
Speaking last year about being financially independent, she said she thinks it’s ‘really important to keep your own finances and your own bank account’ in a relationship.
‘I don’t think you need to combine finances with your partner at all,’ Olivia stated. ‘I think it’s a really outdated way of thinking.’
Money isn’t everything, though, of course, and the host recently opened up about how her marriage breakdown has affected her.
Taking to her Instagram Story this weekend, she admitted she’s been ‘crying herself to sleep’ as she adjusts to her new life.
‘I cry myself to sleep, then business as normal when the alarm goes off at 5am and it has been like that for a long time,’ she wrote, hinting that there have been issues for a while.
Olivia added that she ‘never expected’ to be moving into her new flat alone.
‘I’m in over my depth for sure.’
Addressing the breakup directly, she then said: ‘I want to be happy. I want Brad to be happy. Just one day at a time. For both of us. & anyone else who needs to read this.’
Bradley is yet to comment on the split, but his latest Insta post remains on his feed, showcasing several affectionate snaps with Olivia.
