When it comes to planning family or couples’ days out, it can seem that there is a list of never-ending possibilities.
Whether you want a cultural day exploring museums in the city, escaping for a spa day, or indulging in a delicious afternoon tea, there are plenty of options to tick everyone’s boxes, including the little ones.
One place in particular that is always sure to make an exciting addition to the day is stopping by the brilliant Sea Life London Aquarium. Situated just a few steps away from the iconic London Eye on London’s South Bank, this is a place to lose yourself and witness wonders under the sea, spotting your favourite fish, coral kingdoms and their famous aquarium tunnel.
Things are about to get more exciting at the venue, following its huge success previously. Two epic worlds are colliding as Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming back.
If you’re not familiar with the game, then it’s a cult classic life simulation game which was developed by Nintendo. When playing, you can create your own unique character and explore your deserted island, creating a fun, interactive world.
For a limited time only, you can immerse yourself in the popular Animal Crossing world from February 23 to March 25 2026, as part of any entry ticket. A top tip: get yourself an Anytime Ticket as this allows for maximum flexibility, so you won’t be let down by transport, or any other unexpected delays.
When you step inside, be prepared to be transported as you and the little ones collect character stamps during your exploration on your very own themed card. You’ll be assigned your own tour guide to lead you around the ‘Sea Life Islands’, where you can spot stamp opportunities.
Along the way, you’ll get to discover fascinating sea creatures, spot fossils of marine life from centuries ago, whilst searching for the sleepy seagull Gulliver, who has been washed up on the beaches of the island. You’ll even get to meet some of your favourite characters from the game.
Take the opportunity to meet two icons from the game itself by attending exciting character ‘Meet & Greets’ with Tom Nook and Isabelle. These tend to run daily between 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM, with exceptions of later times on specific evenings. We suggest asking a team member upon your arrival what the timings for the day are, so you don’t miss out on your chance to snap a selfie.

So, the next time you’re planning a fun day out, leave the real world behind and make sure to have the Animal Crossing: New Horizons at SEA LIFE London Aquarium event on your cards.
