Sophie Habboo was lost for words after Jamie Laing revealed his Valentine’s Day gift for her.
The Made in Chelsea couple began dating in April 2019, and they married four years later, announcing in 2025 that they were expecting their first child.
Baby boy Ziggy was born on December 4, his arrival announced via Instagram alongside Polaroid hospital photos and the sweet caption: ‘You have our whole hearts’.
Since becoming a family of three, Jamie, 37, and Sophie, 31, have shared many sweet snaps and videos online, with the podcasters also not missing an opportunity to make a funny TikTok about the reality of parenting life.
And in his latest post, Jamie revealed the sweet present he gave his wife this Valentine’s, catching her completely off guard.
Jamie, who already has a plethora of tattoos, has had both Sophie’s and Ziggy’s names inked in a cursive font on his upper arm, filming himself in the chair and saying: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day, honey. I love you.’
Footage then cut to Sophie cradling their newborn on the sofa of their £4.1million home when Jamie arrived home, whispering to avoid waking their sleeping son.
‘Are you ready for your Valentine’s Day present?’, he asked her excitedly as Sophie kissed Ziggy’s forehead.
The influencer’s mouth immediately fell open in shock when he showed her the tattoo tribute, and she was unable to speak for a few seconds.
‘Why is my name there?’, she asked with a smile while Jamie laughed.
‘When did you do that? Is it real?’, Sophie said, to which he assured her it was.
Fans were obsessed with the wholesome clip, branding it ‘super cute’ in the comments and Sophie’s reaction ‘priceless’.
‘Not her asking why her names there as if you’re not married 😂 this is lovely 💕’, commented @skiessunflower_.
‘Her facial expression is the best 😂😂’, said @lele_bee.
‘Such a beautiful family 😍’, added @katelouiseallison, while @too.much.morgan declared, ‘This is what women want’.
‘I thought she was going to hate it 😂 very cute 🤍’, @pt__lea remarked.
However, others couldn’t help but notice Jamie’s interesting choice of placement, with some saying he should’ve had the names ‘over his heart’ and pointing out that the names were ‘wonky’.
‘He couldn’t have made them straight?’, wrote @rachel_2502, with @newbeginningswithbex replying: ‘Shhhhhh don’t ruin the moment! ❤️’
Earlier this week, doting parents Jamie and Sophie enjoyed their first child-free night since Ziggy’s birth, attending the EE Bafta Rising Star party in London.
‘Mum & Dads big night out’, Jamie captioned his post after the event, with him donning a suave grey suit and Sophie looking stunning in an off-the-shoulder black mini dress.
Fans quickly heaped compliments on the pair, saying Sophie is ‘glowing’ just two months after giving birth.
Following Ziggy’s arrival, Jamie said he was ‘in awe’ of Sophie, writing lovingly: ‘Already knew she was 10/10, but didn’t realise that level could go even higher and it continues to grow.’
‘You are a complete rockstar’, he added, having been open about feeling ‘scared’ to be a dad.
Ahead of becoming parents, the reality TV stars opened up about their thoughts and fears, with Sophie quipping at one point that she nearly ‘divorced’ Jamie over his farting, since she already felt sick.
‘You were the angriest you’ve ever been the other night with me when we were lying in bed because… I farted,’ Jamie began on Nearly Parents.
‘I have such horrific nausea. It really hits me at nighttime,’ Sophie explained. ‘Like, when I lie down, I feel like I’m going to chunder all night long.’
Raging over how much Jamie ‘stank’, Sophie actually ended up ‘calling the hospital because it was so scary’.
‘I was so worried,’ she continued, eight months pregnant at this point. ‘It’s weird throwing up at this stage of pregnancy, when you’ve got a baby, a full baby inside you.
‘That fart smell sent me completely off the scale of nausea.’
Thankfully, no divorce lawyers had to intervene – although Jamie did also call Sophie ‘unbearable’ when her symptoms continued, admitting he had ‘no idea’ how pregnancy could affect the body, physically and emotionally.
Still, the married couple have returned to posting their comedic skits and said they had the ‘best Christmas yet’ once their bundle of joy was here.
