‘Sting very much looks forward to returning to the stage as soon as he is fully recovered. He apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates your understanding,’ read the post.

His fans quickly shared their support for the Police star as they wished for his speedy recovery and expressed concern about his busy schedule.

‘Hope that you’re not too poorly and on the mend the mend soon💗’ said miragemo22.

‘You keep such a gruelling schedule. Stay home and rest. Your body needs time off. 🙏🏼❤️🙌🏽,’ said lori_in_the_chi.

‘Love Sting but some of these older artists have got to put more time between dates or just know their limits. There have been so many cancellations lately. It only hurts the fans that bought the tix,’ commented bfoxrunning.

‘Canceled on us in AZ after we traveled 2 days to see him. Dont tour if you are not healthy,’ said thegearnest.

Sting’s son Eliot Sumner commented: ‘get well soon da ❤️’

After the announcement on November 8 that he would not be performing that evening, many fans were a little peeved after already arriving at the venue when the message was announced.

‘Would be great to let us know afternoon and no one hour before !!! So disrespectful,’ said yolo__2025.

‘Would have been nice if he cancelled before we got to the venue . A refund would be nice,’ said lisacarmel69.

‘Cancelled at 7:46PM for an 8PM show. Not cool,’ said davegoconnell.

The singer was forced to cancel shows earlier this year after ‘dangerous’ safety concerns because of adverse weather.

The highly anticipated outdoor concert was set to take place in northern Italy but organisers cited severe weather conditions that posed a safety risk to fans, performers, and crew.

Metro has reached out to Sting’s representatives for further comment.
