Vicky Pattison’s husband has said he ‘can’t wait’ for her to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Geordie Shore star turned presenter wowed judges last week with her foxtrot, scoring 24 out of 40 with her dance partner Kai Widdrington.

Judge Shirley Ballas’ comments then reduced her to tears as she told her you ‘could actually probably, maybe, possibly go all the way’.

However, the 37-year-old has revealed that her husband Ercan Ramadan, 32, is secretly hoping for her to be voted off the BBC dance show after he was put on a ‘sex ban’.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Vicky said: ‘We’ve been together for nearly ten years and we have a really healthy relationship in every aspect. But it’s just so hard.

‘You’re so exhausted, you’re training for many hours a day. I’m still working outside of this. I’m podcasting, doing all my social bits, I have just launched a clothing collection. Things are full on.’

She continued: ‘So after a full day doing the Charleston you don’t fancy goinghome and doing the mattress Mambo.

‘He’s [Ercan’s] having to be a little bit patient with us at the minute. I think he’s potentially one of the only people in my inner circle, who’s hoping I’m getting booted out.’

Following her standout performance, Vicky told Claudia Winkleman: ‘I haven’t really done an awful lot of stuff to make the North East proud, especially at the start of my career.

‘So it feels really nice to be able to turn a corner on Strictly and have all my family and friends watch us and maybe make them proud.’

This came after she admitted that her excitement and anxiety over her participation in Strictly Come Dancing 2025 got the better of her in week one.

Last week, Vicky and Widdrington both fell ill and were forced to pull out of an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two.

Vicky posted a picture on social media showing her recovery essentials, including lozenges and cough syrup.

On top of taking part in Strictly, the Geordie Shore and Ex On the Beach star was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2015 on I’m A Celebrity.

Vicky and Ercan got engaged in 2022 before marrying last year in a Channel 4 documentary called My Big Fat Geordie Wedding.
