A star from BBC’s Strictly has revealed she found a man with a camera positioned outside of her bedroom window.
The contestant, who appeared on the 2022 series of the dancing competition, asked her followers: ‘This isn’t normal, right? Or did I miss something?’
She went on: ‘When I asked what he was doing he acted like I was in the wrong? Annoyed that I had even questioned it and told me to call the police if I wanted to.’
Jayde Adams, 41, danced with Karen Hauer and made it to week five before being eliminated.
Since then, comedian and actor Jayde has starred in shows like the second series of Bafta-winning Alma’s Not Normal, and her own sitcom, Ruby Speaking.

Talking to her Instagram followers via her Stories, Jayde wrote: ‘How would you feel? I’m in my bedroom. Curtains open. But it’s the second floor and no one can see in.
‘And all of a sudden I see a stick with a silver digital camera on the end. I opened the window and there was an old man below holding the stick up outside.’
As if that wasn’t strange enough, according to the Daily Mail, Jayde explained that he seemed ‘completely unaware why a woman in her bedroom might be shocked to see a camera being pushed on a stick towards their window’.
Continuing, she said: ‘When I asked what he was doing he acted like I was in the wrong? Annoyed that I had even questioned it and told me to call the police if I wanted to.’
Perplexed, she wrote: ‘This isn’t normal, right? Or did I miss something?’
The 41-year-old’s fans asked her to share an update shortly afterwards.
One follower wrote in a Q&A box: ‘What happened to that weird guy with the camera?’
She responded on her Story saying she’d ‘popped a note in’ and was ‘waiting for a response’.
Jayde pondered that she thought he might have been linked to someone who lives near her, but he hadn’t returned since.
The actor went on: ‘They need to like tell me.’

Her time on Strictly was emotional in parts. Jayde dedicated the American Smooth to her late sister on the show, who died from a brain tumour aged 28.
She also became teary on It Takes Two after being eliminated, as she reflected on what it had been like to take part in the competition.
Jayde was trolled online, but remained resilient and admitted she wanted to leave a ‘legacy’ behind after making moves on the dance floor.
