It’s that time of the week again folks, when we take a look at which films have been floating your Netflix boat over the past few days — only this week’s chart has one movie notable by its absence.
Yep, for the first time in 42 weeks there’s no sign of KPop Demon Hunters, with the Oscar-winning animated juggernaut finally falling out of the global top 10 (just as well as we’d run out of things to say about it).
That doesn’t mean this week’s chart isn’t worthy of your attention though, with a whole host of non-English language titles vying for attention, along with true crime, documentaries, and a whole lot more.

After topping the charts last week with over 19,000,000 views, the Peaky Blinders film has taken quite the tumble this week, more than halving its audience and clinging perilously to a place in the top 10.
However, it’s still a solid gold hit with fans of the TV series flocking to the latest instalment of Tommy Shelby’s (Cillian Murphy) adventures.
The premise sees Tommy returning to the fold from a self-imposed exile during the chaos of World War II. But with the future of both his family and country on the line, which will he choose?
9. War Machine – 6,100,000 views
Another former chart topper, War Machine has also tumbled out of the top five this week despite adding more than six million viewers to its total.
The film sees the final stage of US Army Ranger selection take an unexpected — and dark — turn when the recruits are faced with a dangerous threat from beyond the human realm.
All of which leaves them in a fight for survival for which none of them are prepared.
8. 40 Acres – 6,400,000 views
At number eight this week is this Canadian-produced sci-fi thriller from 2024. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, 40 Acres stars Danielle Deadwyler as the head of a family of African-American farmers, whose ancestors settled in Canada after the American Civil War.
Now living in a world ravaged by plagues and wars, where food is scarce, the clan have to defend their homestead against a fresh – and somewhat cannibalistic – threat.
7. Mardaani 3 – 6,300,000 views
This Indian Hindi-language action thriller film is a sequel to the 2019 film Mardaani 2 and the third instalment in the Mardaani Trilogy, centring on police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy, who dismantles powerful criminal networks and systems of violence against women.
The latest film in the series sees her take on one of her most challenging cases yet, as sheinvestigates the case of 93 missing girls who have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
6. The Red Line – 6,400,000 views
Next up we have this thriller from Thailand, focusing on a group of women who fall victim to a ruthless phone scam, losing a huge amount of money in the process.
Determined to settle the score and get their cash back, the trio take on the criminal network who set them up in an elaborate revenge plot.
5.The Truth And Tragedy: Moriah Wilson – 6,700,000 views
We all know Netflix is no slouch when it comes to true crime and here’s another look into a notorious case, this one the shocking murder of professional cyclist Moriah Wilson in May 2022.
Wilson was shot dead in Texas by yoga instructor Kaitlin Marie Armstrong, who committed the crime out of jealousy over her affair with fellow cyclist Colin Strickland, who was also dating Armstrong at the time.
The feature takes a deep dive into Wilson’s life and the events leading up to her death, as well as showing how far her killer went to evade capture.
4. Eat Pray Bark – 7,000,000 views
If you’re a dog lover or a pet owner, then this quirky comedy from Germany should be added to your watchlist immediately.
Eat Pray Bark centres on five eccentric dog owners whose pooches leave a bit to be desired on the behaviour front.
As a last ditch attempt at dealing with their four-legged friends they sign up for a course with a legendary dog trainer in the Tyrolean mountains — but is it the dogs who need the training, or their humans?
3. Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom – 8,400,000 views
Heading into the top three now, and it kicks off with this deep dive into the life of NBA star Lamar Odom, whose career in professional basketball saw him win back to back championships with the LA Lakers in 2009 and 2010.
The film looks at his rise to fame as a sports star, his high-profile marriage to Khloe Kardashian, and how it nearly all came crashing down after an overdose in a Nevada brothel in 2015 left him on the brink of death.
2. Anaconda – 9,900,000 views
Snaking into the runner-up spot this week is a comedy that unites Jack Black and Paul Rudd as best friends who have always dreamed of remaking their favourite movie, Anaconda.
Thanks to a joint midlife crisis, they decide to go for it and head deep into the Amazon jungle to bring the 1997 film back to life in their own unique way.
Except, in a major plot twist, life begins imitating art when a gigantic anaconda starts hunting them down.
1. Humint – 11,000,000 views
As might already be obvious we have a new number one — and this week top honours belong to this South Korean spy thriller, dominating proceedings with 11 million views.
Humint – a shortened version of the words ‘human intelligence’ – follows a South Korean agent who is sent to Russia to crack a crime syndicate operating out of Vladivostok.
However, the assignment is complicated when he clashes with a North Korean official, whose personal interests are at odds with the mission.
