A star from the The Traitors US has said they were drugged at the premiere party for the show.
Lisa Rinna, 62, has opened up about her experience and claimed that after taking a test she was found to have ‘fentanyl [and] high levels of amphetamines, and other things’ in her system.
The TV personality was celebrating the fourth season of the US version of reality game show in which she is a contestant, at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
It’s a popular gay bar in the area, and Rinna claims she knows ‘so many people’ who have had the same thing happen to them there.
On Monday, TMZ first reported that the actress thought she had been ‘roofied’ at the party which took place on January 8.
Since then, the model and actress has told hosts Rosanna Scotto and Jerry O’Connell on Fox 5 that she knows she was drugged.
Rinna said: ‘I’m not kidding. […] But I can’t talk a lot about it, because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.’

She declined to say who she thought might have been responsible, but confirmed that the incident allegedly took place at The Abbey.
The 62-year-old went on: ‘Luckily my husband was there and was able to get me out of there quickly.’
When asked by O’Connell ‘what shall we do’ to stop this from happening, Rinna responded: ‘Well, I don’t know. So many people that I know have had this happen at The Abbey – all my daughters’ friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing, this is something that has gone on for years, and I do think it needs to be a conversation.’
In 2024, new owner of the bar Tristan Schukraft addressed the ‘wild conspiracy theories online about The Abbey and [their] staff’.
He said drink spiking was a ‘widespread issue’ and ‘not just something unique to us’.
He said: ‘If we see anyone tampering with a drink, they are immediately removed, handed over to law enforcement and permanently banned.’
A spokesperson for The Abbey also provided a statement to Entertainment Weekly, and said they had ‘immediately conducted a thorough internal review’ after being contacted by Rinna’s team.
They said: ‘When she became unwell, our security team assisted her and escorted her safely out of the venue. We pulled and reviewed all available surveillance footage from the time in question and interviewed staff on duty. We found no evidence of drink tampering or suspicious behaviour toward her.’
The statement continued: ‘We take any report of a guest feeling unwell or unsafe extremely seriously and follow established investigative protocols.’
Speaking more generally, The Abbey said: ‘Drink tampering is a crime. If any guest believes their drink has been compromised, we strongly encourage them to report it immediately, either to our management team so we can respond in real time, or directly to law enforcement if they prefer.’
It concluded: ‘The Abbey has extensive surveillance coverage, trained security personnel, and ongoing drink-safety measures in place. Guest safety remains our highest priority.’
