After several wild and wacky weeks of incognito celebrities singing their hearts out while wearing completely bonkers outfits, the latest season is almost at an end.

That’s right, The Masked Singer UK will air its finale this Saturday, where we’ll discover the identity of our last three competitors – Moth, Toastie, and Conkers.

Since first hitting the small screen in 2020, we’ve had six seasons of the show, hosted by Joel Dommett, and the format is brilliantly simple.

Basically, judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama watch a costumed performer belt out a song, and then they have to guess who’s under the mask.

For this season, the ten concealed contestants also included: Can of Worms, Red Panda, Arctic Fox, Monkey Business, Yak, Sloth, Gargoyle, Disc Jockey and Teabag.

And so far, our unveiled famous faces include Alex Jones, Professor Green and John Lydon, among others.

But with the competition almost at an end, here’s everything we know about Moth so far…

What clues are there for Moth’s identity?

  • ‘It’s time for me to face the music’
  • ‘I’ve grown bigger than my wildest dreams,’ the Moth said, offering imagery of flourishing from larvae to butterfly, indicating a growth of fame over their life.
  • They then cited three things a successful Moth-dition needs: ‘Grace, power and presence’.
  • ‘I’ve served in the West’ – potentially meaning the West End.
  • During the clue package, we were given glimpses of a carrot, a candlestick and a framed picture of comedian Ronnie Corbett.
  • At the end, Moth is holding a blue jay.
  • Everything Moth said was delivered with a posh accent.
  • On the stage, Moth sang Hero by Mariah Carey, providing stunning vocals.
  • Moth said they had their ‘jazz wings at the ready’.
  • They wowed the judges in their second performance, singing Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo.

Who could Moth be on The Masked Singer?

Many a name has been mentioned for Moth on The Masked Singer.

Here are a few celebrities that the judges think could be hiding behind the mask.

Jessie J

Running with the theory that it is a singer, and weaving in the glimpse of a blue jay in the clue package, Jonathan Ross said it could be Jessie J.

The Price Tag hitmaker certainly has the vocals to perform such a gorgeous rendition of Mariah Carey’s emotional ballad.

Notably, Jessie J has also been on the West End, where she started her career young at the age of nine on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down the Wind.

Molly Ringwald

Davina came in with another strong suggestion, noting that US actor Molly Ringwald not only starred in the 1993 movie, Face the Music, but also has red hair – hence the carrot reference.

There was also a lit candle as part of the clues, and Molly famously starred in Sixteen Candles as a young actress (another element to her career trajectory, which fits into the moth transforming into a butterfly).

Keisha Buchanan

Is it the Sugababes icon under the mask? (Picture: Karwai Tang/WireImage)

Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan has been mentioned by not only social media sleuths but also Maya.

‘As a die-hard Sugababes fan, I’ve listened to that voice a long long time,’ she confidently told the panel. ‘I know those runs.’

Viewers are convinced that that set of pipes can only belong to one person – the 41-year-old girl group icon.

Maya has the same idea – she said the sound of Moth’s voice is transporting her back to her childhood, describing it as ‘vocal perfection’.

Other potential stars that could be hiding under the disguise are Paloma Faith and Alexandra Burke – both with powerhouse voices and a connection to the West End.

Fleur East

Davina noted how Moth said to ‘close your eyes and leap’ and called themselves ‘saxy and I know it.’

She explained: ‘Fleur East’s debut single was Sax.’

Fleur, 38, is now the host on Hits Radio and has performed in musicals in the West End … which links to Moth’s hints about ‘the west’.

Judges often guess Stacey Solomon at one point or another on the show (Picture: Jonty Davies/Good Housekeeping UK)

Jonathan said we don’t hear her perform much, but he thinks it’s Stacey Solomon.

Joel joked it wouldn’t be a series of The Masked Singer without a mention of the TV icon.

Billie Piper

Can Billie Piper really sing that well? (Picture: 2025 Dave Benett)

When he appeared as guest judge, Ben Shephard said he thinks it’s actor Billie Piper.

He picked up on the broken record motif and thinks it’s a performer who has broken records. That’s why he’s gone for the youngest ever female number one, Billie.

Jonathan also suggested cake clues hinted to ‘piping’… piper.

In 1998, aged 15, she became the youngest female artist to go to the top of the charts with Because We Want To.

The Scottish cloth Ben reckons could be an indicator of her name?

Jamelia

This Superstar hasn’t released a studio album since 2006, but she’s set to return in 2026 … could a Masked Singer reveal be part of that rollout?

Jonathan clocked the clue ‘I must thank you’ and said: ‘This person has a song called Thank You and I think has that kind of range.

‘I think it could be Jamelia in there.’

Mo doubled down on this in another episode, pointing to bake off clues and ‘wanting to see you shine’ as a Superstar reference.

Beverley Knight

Moth is definitely a singer – could it be Beverley? (Picture: Dave Benett/Getty Images)

Mo thinks it is singing legend Beverley Knight.

He’s convinced the reference to jazz means they went to stage school, and after hearing the clue about a ‘queen bee’, he said it was staring him in the face.

A singer whose name begins with B, who also has great range? Shoulda Woulda Coulda singer Beverley Knight.

Leona Lewis

We know Moth can hold a tune, could it be Leona? (Picture: Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock)

Davina went for The X Factor winner from 2006, Leona Lewis, as her guess.

She picked up on the clue which referenced the word ‘shine’ – a song by Gary Barlow’s band, Take That. ‘Who sung with Take That in The X Factor final?’, asked Davina.

The answer, of course, is Leona, who performed A Million Love Songs with the boyband as she battled it out to win the ITV competition.

JoJo

JoJo was Olly Murs’ pick for Moth (Picture: Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images)

Guest judge Olly, who was unmasked as Mole Dommett, took note of the American references in the VT and thinks it’s iconic singer JoJo.

Picking up on the Christina Milian clue — a possible reference to her song Am to Pm — along with what he thinks were Taylor Swift references, Olly declared he’d cracked it.

‘It’s an American singer putting on a British accent,’ he said confidently, pointing to the US clues.

He reckoned JoJo could be performing a double bluff and belting out her own song, Leave (Get Out) on the show.

The Masked Singer continues this Saturday with the grand final at 7pm on ITV1
