Another week, another round of huge viewing figures on Netflix — and this time there’s been quite a bit of movement in the most-watched movie chart.
There’s been a bit of a theme emerging as blockbusters of a decidedly Jurassic nature jostle for space alongside animated hits, action nailbiters and tense psychological thrillers. Not to mention KPop Demon Hunters, of course.
The question is, can last week’s chart-topper, the Spanish hit Firebeak, nab a second week at the top or has something else extinguished its reign? Here are the 10 most-watched Netflix movies around the world in the past week…
10. Hierarchy – 3,200,000 views

Nabbing a second week in the top 10, Hierarchy follows two adoptive Texan brothers whose lives start unravelling after they become tangled up with the wrong people for a heist.
What begins as a small problem quickly grows into something far more dangerous as loyalty, resentment and desperation all converge, setting the scene for some explosive drama.
9. Jurassic World – 3,200,000 views
There’s a whole lot of Jurassic activity in the charts at the moment — starting with the 2015 movie, which was the fourth in the Jurassic Park series and the first in the current franchise.
Set 22 years after the events of the original film, it introduces us to Chris Pratt’s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire as a theme park of cloned dinosaurs on Isla Nublar is thrown into chaos when one of the dinos escapes. Cue chaos.
8. The Boss Baby – 3,300,000 views
Another showing in the top 10 for the ever-popular animated hit, which remains a big draw with viewers eight years after its original cinema outing.
The action spy comedy centres on Tim, a seven-year-old who is jealous of the attention being lavished on his baby brother, until he discovers that, not only can he talk, but he’s actually a pint-sized secret agent.
Together the pair team up on a mission to prevent puppies becoming more popular than babies. As you do.
7. Street Flow 3 – 4,400,000 views
Next up, we have the latest in this popular franchise from France, coming seven years after the original Street Flow was released.
The crime drama series centres on three brothers, gangster Demba, lawyer student Soulaymaan and the youngest, Noumouke, who is torn between which of his siblings’ footsteps he wants to follow in.
The latest film in the series sees each of them facing past events as they make difficult decisions which could shape their futures, for better or worse.
6. Trap House – 4,400,000 views
More high-octane action now, this time courtesy of this 2025 thriller featuring Dave Bautista.
The wrestler-turned-actor plays an undercover DEA agent who teams up with his partner to take on an unlikely group of adversaries – their own teenage children – after discovering they are using their parents’ tactics to rob a dangerous drugs cartel.
A tense game of cat and mouse ensues as they try and stop the teens in their tracks.
5. Firebreak – 4,600,000 views
After getting off to a chart-topping start last week with more than 19 million views in just 10 days, the fire is gradually simmering down on this Spanish thriller.
The story follows a mother searching for her missing daughter after the girl disappears near their remote countryside home.
However, the search is hampered by a massive wildfire which starts to spread across the surrounding forest, turning an already desperate situation into something even more dangerous.
4. KPop Demon Hunters – 4,700,000 views
KPop Demon Hunters, is that you? Yep, the animated behemoth is showing no signs of slowing down. 38 weeks after it first appeared in the charts, it’s barely loosened its grip on the top five, let alone dropped out altogether.
We can’t believe there’s anybody left out there who hasn’t watched it, listened to the soundtrack, bought the T-shirt, memorised every line of dialogue and perfected all the dance routines by now.
Still, more than four million of you still tuning in to HUNTR/X’s adventures over the past week.
3. Jurassic World: Rebirth – 6,700,000 views
More Jurassic antics? This one is the most recent of the series, landing on Netflix after stomping its way through big screens last summer to become the sixth biggest film of 2025.
In case you missed it, the story imagines a world where prehistoric creatures have spread far beyond the original park and now live among humans.
When a group of specialists (played by the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey) set out to recover valuable genetic material from surviving dinosaurs, the scene is set for the type of mayhem fans of the franchise will be all too familiar with.
2. Accused – 7,600,000 views
Holding steady in second spot is this Hindi psychological thriller, about a respected London surgeon whose life begins collapsing after anonymous allegations of sexual misconduct rear their head online
Konkona Sen Sharma plays Dr. Geetika Sen, a blunt but well-thought-of gynaecologist whose career and planned adoption suddenly hang in the balance as the claims spiral into an investigation which could destroy her whole life.
Pratibha Ranta co-stars as her partner Meera, who – as the claims begin to surface – is forced to question how well she really knows her wife.
1. War Machine – 39,300,000 views
This week’s new number one has seen off all the competition this week with some ease, racking up more than 30 million extra views than its closest rival and being proclaimed by viewers as one of 2026’s best movies so far.
So what’s all the fuss about? Well, War Machine – which stars the likes of Dennis Quaid and Jai Courtney – follows the final recruits of a special ops boot camp who find themselves in a fight for survival when they encounter a deadly, otherworldly force hellbent on picking them off.
It might not be the most subtle thing you’ll ever see, and it might not nab any Oscars, but as fun, escapist popcorn flicks go this ticks all the boxes.
