Zendaya is continuing to fuel speculation that she’s tied the knot with Tom Holland after appearing to debut her wedding ring.
The American actress, 29, went public with her Spider Man co-star Tom, also 29, in 2021.
While the couple have been notoriously private about their relationship in the years since – last year reports emerged they’d become engaged after she wore a diamond ring to the Golden Globes.
Then, last week, the Euphoria star’s stylist Law Roach caused a frenzy after he casually appeared to confirm they’d already got married.
Claiming that ‘the wedding has already happened’, he told Access Hollywood at the Actor Awards: ‘You missed it.’
Although Zendaya or Tom are yet to confirm the news themselves, she’s now attended an event with a shiny gold wedding band in tow.
Attending Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 show at the Louvre as part of Paris Fashion Week, the actress wore a white dress shirt with a high-low bubble skirt.
While her fashionable outfit and curly bob haircut turned plenty of heads, the focus was on her ring finger – on which she was wearing a gold ring. It was also paired with silver statement rings to match her hoop earrings.
Despite the telling sign that she and her partner have walked down the aisle, it’s unlikely they will release a statement or speak about their nuptials publicly.
However Zendaya’s mum went on to share her own response to Roach’s remarks. Posting a clip of the interview on Instagram, Claire Stoermer seemed to poke fun at his revelation, adding a laughing emoji and writing cryptically: ‘The laugh….’
The stylist’s revelation about the wedding was also not the first time he’s spoken publicly without Zendaya present about her getting married.
During an episode of Complex’s Please Explain series last year, he dashed all our hopes of getting to see the ceremony, saying: ‘She and Tom are super private about their relationship. They’re trying to be as private as possible.
‘There won’t be a Vogue spread, or there won’t be pictures of the wedding, and the people who she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy, so it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see.’
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2023, Tom also explained why they’d chosen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight: ‘Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.’
That same year he also spoke about his gratitude for how he and Zendaya had similar approaches for navigating life in the spotlight.
‘I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life,’ he said on the Smartless podcast.
‘It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you.
‘You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff – and that’s worth its weight in gold.’
Last year she told the Daily Mirror about working with her partner: ‘Honestly, I know people might think it’s awkward. On set, he has this huge calming presence that not only puts me at ease but also everybody he works with. I might be a little biased, but he is not only my favourite person – he is my favourite person to work with.’
She added: ‘Neither of us want to hide and not live our lives and do normal things, like go out for dinner, but at the same time, we want to protect our privacy.’
Zendaya and Tom met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2015. While he starred as the superhero, she played his love interest MJ.
In a rare public declaration about their romance, in September 2021 he paid tribute to his girlfriend, writing: ‘My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when you’re up xxx.’
Meanwhile three months later, after their third Spider-Man film hit cinemas, Zendaya praised her partner and leading man.
‘My Spider-Man, I’m so proud of you. Some things never change and good thing,’ she wrote.
